  4. Download the WAV. It is made in your browser in a second or two and works in any DAW, phone or in-ear setup.

Questions

What is a click track?

A click track is a steady series of clicks at a set tempo that musicians play along to so they stay in time. Bands use them when recording, drummers practise with them, and worship teams and live acts use them to sync with backing tracks.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, and the files are yours to use however you like.

What BPM should I use?

Use the tempo of your song. If you do not know it, tap along with Tap tempo. As a rough guide, ballads sit around 60 to 80 BPM, pop and rock around 100 to 130 BPM, and house music around 120 to 128 BPM.

What format is the download?

A 44.1 kHz, 16-bit mono WAV file, the standard format every audio app opens. The file name includes the BPM and time signature so it is easy to find later.

Why does the first beat sound different?

Beat 1 of each bar is accented with a higher click so you always know where the bar starts. Untick Accent beat 1 if you want every click the same.
